Cassie Cage - Daughter of Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade.
Takahashi Takeda - son of Kenshi.

Ferra/Torr - consisting of an armored dwarf-woman and a giant masked brute.
Scorpion reinstates his Shirai Ryu clan.

General

Game of my childhood :) remember how I played Mortal Kombat with friends, it's been great...

Shinnok attacks Earthrealm after two years as Shao Kahn been defeated, with army of Netherrealm, including the Earthrealm forces who were killed and are now resurrected under control of Quan Chi who escapes After fight. Johnny and Sonya track him in the Netherrealm where Quan Chi been defeated. Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Jax been restored to human form, but Quan Chi escapes again. :)
Twenty years after Shinnok's defeat, Johnny assembles a team of fighters - Cassie, Takeda, Jacqui, and Kung Jin. After a training with Sub-Zero, they are ready to resolve a civil war between former empress Mileena and Outworld's current emperor Kotal Kahn. Sonya forces Kano to reveal Mileena's location. With this information, Cassie's team aids Kotal, Mileena has been captured and executed by Kotal's order. Kotal takes Cassie and her friends hostage as leverage against Raiden.Quan Chi 's Double agent - D'Vorah, steals Shinnok's amulet. Cassie and her team escape and Earthrealm been informed of D'Vorah's intentions.
Jax and Kenshi, aided by Sareena, lead an assault on the Netherrealm Hoping to stop Quan Chi. After fighting Jax captures a weakened Quan Chi. Scorpion, having learned from Sub-Zero the truth of Quan Chi's involvement in the deaths of his family and clan, attacks the refugee camp with the intent of kill Quan Chi. D'Vorah arrives with the amulet As Scorpion prepares to kill Quan Chi, he manages to finish a spell moments before being beheaded by Scorpion, releasing Shinnok from captivity. Shinnok and D'Vorah assault the Sky Temple after Shinnok transforming himself into a powerful demon.
Cassie's team be intercepted by Kotal Kahn and his army while they pursues Shinnok. They inform him of Shinnok's return and Kotal hoping to appease Shinnok and buy time to bolster Outworld's defenses, decides to kill them, but Sub-Zero and his Lin Kuei comrades appear just in time to repel the Outworld forces. At the Sky Temple, Jacqui and Takeda occupy the revenants, while Cassie and Jin enter the Jinsei chamber. There, Cassie defeats D'Vorah and Shinnok, and rescues her father, who been prisoner. A grievously-wounded Raiden purifies the Jinsei, stripping Shinnok of his powers and forcing the revenants to withdraw. Sonya and her soldiers arrive to take Shinnok and D'Vorah away.

Gameplay

In game two players fight against each other using a variety of attacks, special moves and Fatalities. The energy meter allows players to perform special moves.
Each fighter has three of fight variations, each with a different moves. For example, Scorpion features 1. Ninjutsu - Wields dual swords, 2. Hellfire - Fiery special moves and 3. Inferno - Summon minions to aid him in the fight.
Game has several play modes: Story, 1 vs. 1 Ranked, King of the Hill, Survivor, and Test Your Luck. A new mode called Living Towers, where the play conditions will be changing every hour. Another new mode is Faction Wars, where you must choose one from the five factions (Black Dragon, the Brotherhood of Shadow, the Lin Kuei, Special Forces, and White Lotus) to align with and join a persistent online cross-platform competition with other players.


P.S.
I think "tap finger to hit" fighting system is not for this game. I vote for control like as joystick!!!
